The UK Financial Conduct Authority published its “Supporting informed decision making: Final rules for Consumer Composite Investments“ (CCI) in December 2025. The CCI will replace the existing UCITS KIID and PRIIP KID information in the UK. These new rules will become fully applicable on 08 June 2027. There is also a transition period, starting on 6 April, permitting early migration to the new CCI document without triggering full application of the new rules.
FinDatEx is aware that this will require potential changes to the UK-specific data in the European MiFiD Template (EMT) and European PRIIPs Template (EPT).
To ensure that a single data template can continue to be used to support the distribution of financial products throughout Europe, FinDatEx will start its work on the review of the EMT and EPT. Please note that this review of the EMT and EPT will focus on these UK-specific changes only.
This work will commence soon, with the aim of publishing revised EMT and EPT early next year, allowing market participants sufficient time for implementation by 08 June 2027.
